Craig L. Fuller - Craig L. Fuller is Executive Vice President of APCO Worldwide, an independently owned global communication consultancy. Mr. Fuller joined the firm's Washington, D.C., office after holding top positions in the White House, a national trade association, a Fortune 50 corporation and in global consulting firms.
Prior to joining APCO, he established his own consulting firm and previously was President and CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, where he worked on major health care policy issues with 200 leading retail organizations and 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers to the industry.
At the White House, he served for eight years as Assistant to President Reagan for cabinet affairs and then as Chief of Staff to Vice President George H. W. Bush. Mr. Fuller serves on the board of Stillwater Mining Company and is a director of the United States Chamber of Commerce and the National Chamber Foundation.
Elliot Gerson - Elliot Gerson is executive vice president for Seminars and Public Programs at the Aspen Institute. Gerson is responsible for the Aspen Institute's seminars, including the Executive Seminar, topical and custom seminars, and those offered in Socrates programs. He also manages the Institute's public programs, including the Aspen Ideas Festival and the World Biomedical Forum.
As American secretary of the Rhodes Trust, he manages the US Rhodes Scholarships. He is also a founding trustee of the Mandela Rhodes Foundation Trust, which focuses on African higher education and leadership; a director of the International Biomedical Research Alliance, affiliated with the National Institutes of Health; and director of a Kabul-based logistics, security, and construction company focused on the reconstruction and redevelopment of Afghanistan.
He was a US Supreme Court clerk and has practiced law, held executive positions in state and federal government and in a presidential campaign, served as president of leading insurance and health care companies, and served on many nonprofit boards, especially in the arts and humanities.
Mary Woolley - Since 1990, Mary Woolley has been president and CEO of Research!America, the nation's largest not-for-profit alliance working to make research to improve health a higher national priority. Its 500+ organizational members represent the voices of 125 million Americans. Under her leadership, Research!America's membership has more than quadrupled as it has earned the attention and respect of research, media and community leaders with its signature public opinion polls and advocacy resource materials.
She is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine and fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She serves on the Harvard School of Public Health Board of Overseers and the IBM Life Sciences Council, among other volunteer activities. She has a 25-year editorial and publication history on science advocacy, policy and public opinion. She was educated at San Francisco State University and Stanford University and is a native of Chicago.
John Zogby - John Zogby is President and Chief Executive Officer of Zogby International, a leading public opinion and market research firm. Mr. Zogby routinely conducts polls on health care reform and global health efforts. Among his accomplishments, he is widely recognized for correctly predicting the cliffhanger result of the 2000 presidential election for George W. Bush, in contrast to most other pollsters who had projected that Bush would win easily.
Mr. Zogby established his firm in 1984 and since then has been tracking public opinion in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. He has written guest editorials for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among other major newspapers, and he is the author of a forthcoming portrait of the new American consumer, which will be published by Random House this fall. Mr. Zogby holds degrees in history from Le Moyne College and Syracuse University.
