Kumar Barve - First elected in 1990, and re-elected three times—in 1994,1998, and 2002, Delegate Kumar P. Barve, age 48, is the Majority Leader in Maryland's state legislature and is the longest-serving elected official of Indian origin. He represents a district with a population of 110,000 in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Ronnie Chatterji - Ronnie Chatterji joined the Fuqua faculty in 2006 as an assistant professor of management. His research interests include strategy, entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility. Chatterji earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
Hansen Clarke - Hansen Clarke is a Democratic Michigan State Senator from Detroit. He has served in the state Senate since 2003, and currently represents Michigan's 1st state Senate district.
Swati Dandekar - Swati Dandekar was reelected as the State Representative from Iowa House District 36 in November 2004. Ms. Dandekar, 53, is a 31-year resident of Marion and a long-time community volunteer.
