Bio
Terri Jentz
Terri Jentz is author of Strange Piece of Paradise, was a finalist in 2006 for A National Book Critics Circle Award, an Edgar mystery award, and a Los Angeles Times Book Award. Ms. Jentz is an advocate on behalf of equal rights for women internationally, and is dedicated to helping end violence against women.
Bridget Kinsella
When a friend who taught creative writing at a maximum-security prison asked Bridget Kinsella to read the work of one of his best students, she readily agreed. As a publishing professional, Kinsella was used to getting manuscripts from all sorts of sources. Who knows? she told herself. What followed is her first memoir, Visiting Life.
Peggy Orenstein
Peggy Orenstein is an internationally recognized writer and speaker on issues affecting women and girls. Also a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine, she is the author of the books, Waiting For Daisy, Flux, and Schoolgirls.
Julia Scheeres
Julia Scheeres author of the memoir Jesus Land, which made both the New York Times and London Times bestseller lists and has been translated into Norwegian and Swedish. Scheeres is a frequent contributor to the New York Times Book Review, and is working on a novel. She lives in San Francisco.
