Bio
River Jordan
River Jordan is a storyteller of the southern variety and the author of The Messenger of Magnolia Street. She spent over ten years as a playwright with the Loblolly Theatre Company. Her writing style has been cast most frequently in the company of Flannery O’Connor and Harper Lee.
Shant Kenderian
Shant Kenderian was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1963 and immigrated to the US when he was a teenager. He has earned several degrees, including a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Once employed by NASA, Shant currently works for an aerospace company in the Los Angeles area. He lives in Pasadena, California with his wife and three children and serves as a youth group director for the Armenian Church.
Norris Church Mailer
Norris Church Mailer was raised in Arkansas, and now lives in Brooklyn and Cape Cod with her husband of twenty-five years, Norman Mailer. She is the mother of two sons and the stepmother of five daughters and two sons. Windchill Summer is her first novel.
Kim Ponders
Kim Ponders is a former aviator with the U.S. Air Force. She writes speeches, sells organic home products, and raises children in New Hampshire. Her new novel, The Last Blue Mile, will be released in June 2007, along with the paperback edition of her first novel, The Art of Uncontrolled Flight.
Danielle Trussoni
Danielle Trussoni grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and attended the University of Wisconsin and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island. Her first book, Falling Through the Earth: A Memoir, earned her the 2006 Michener Copernicus Society Award and was chosen as one of The New York Times top 10 books of 2006.
