Around 52 minutes Paul mentions the excellent Adam Curtis documentary "The Power of Nightmares" the video can be found here http://www.archive.org/details/ThePowerOfNightmares , if anything it demonstrates that actions all have consequences by not seeing far enough ahead. Listening to Paul I could hear myself and the names, Emerson, Thoreau, Gandi, Walter Lanyon, I would add George Washington Carver and Jesus too, but in a spiritual sense, not the man-made religion that has left a sour taste in our mouths over the centuries, and has been a poor imitation of Spirit and truth, its like we are coming back together, being reconciled to one another (Golden rule) and to the earth. The old ways of dog-eat-dog, one man trampling on another, is no longer tolerated by man-kind at large, and with the advent of the Internet and immediate connectivity via FB and Twitter and text, the power truly is back in the peoples hands to transform.

Further to this I was amazingly aware of yet another group of people that are a part of this movement. Those who follow the spiritual paths that encourage us to never try to teach other...search for truth for you self and be the the change you want to see in the world first. I know personally of thousands of meditation groups all over the world who are part of this kind of movement. A silent growing group of people who influence greatly. also wanted to share yet another network of people. http://www.glcoherence.org

I just watched The New Great Transformation and found it most interesting. When that music started playing towards the end of the speech, my spirits soared. How do you reconcile all of this, though, with a Congress that just passed a $100 billion war budget? And where do the people in mainland China fit in to this movement?
