Maurizio Molinari
Maurizio Molinari is the US correspondent of the Italian national daily newspaper La Stampa. Prior he was the EU correspondent in Brussels and the diplomatic correspondent in Rome.
He arrived at La Stampa in 1997. Since 1984, when he began his career as a journalist, he has covered foreign affairs and defense for La Voce Repubblicana, Il Tempo, L'Indipendente, L'Opinione, Il Foglio and the magazine Panorama.
In the last ten years Molinari has reported on assignment from the Balkans, the Middle East, Iraq, Iran, North Africa, Turkey and the Horn of Africa.
He regularly comments for La7 tv on Foreign Policy and US events.
Emanuele Ottolenghi
Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi is Executive Director at the Transatlantic Institute in Brussels. He previously taught Israel Studies at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies and at the Middle East Centre of St. Antony's College, Oxford University.
He holds a degree in Political Science from University of Bologna, Italy, and a Ph.D. in political theory from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Since 1998 he is at Oxford.
His research focuses on Israeli domestic politics, specifically coalition and party politics, and elections, post-Zionism, the Arab-Israeli conflict (mainly the Oslo era), Europe's new anti-Semitism and European attitudes to the Middle East. He is currently finishing a book on Israel's electoral reforms in the 1990s.
Charles Small
Charles A. Small is a professor with the Institute for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University, and the Director of The Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Anti-Semitism.
Professor Small is also the founding director of the nonprofit Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he has a D.Phil from Oxford University, and has taught at the University of London, Ben Gurion University, Tel Aviv University, and Hebrew University. He was the the Director/Associate Professor of Urban Studies at Southern Connecticut State University.
On September 19, 2006, Yale founded The Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Anti-Semitism, the first North American university-based center for study of the subject, as part of the Institute for Social and Policy Studies, with Small as director. He cited the increase in anti-Semitism worldwide in recent years as generating a "need to understand the current manifestation of this disease".
