Arjun Appadurai, The New School's distinguished analyst of globalization and public culture in India, has been a long-time student of Professor Nandy's work.
Elizabeth Wilson
Elizabeth Wilson is a fashion scholar whose 1985 book Adorned in Dreams: Fashion and Modernity was the first book on the field of fashion studies. She has taught cultural studies for ten years and regularly writes and speaks on the topic.
