A very frank exposition; I know some Jewish friends who wouldn’t agree with many of the ideas he voices. But most remarkable are the new ideas he explains. If what he says is only half truth, then peace is more feasible with the Jewish side. In fact, though I think the Arabs are correct in their right to have a state in their land, I have always thought that it is easier to establish a dialogue and start a solution with the Jews, not only because of their more advanced political conscience, but for their sensitivity for issues like those that deal with the lot of the victims of war, be they Jewish or Arab. Unfortunately, the second half of the exposition gets much more realist (which in Mideast matters means pessimist), and the scenario for the near future (2010-2015) looks, if anything, bleak. My dad hoped I would see peace in the Holy Land. Maybe soon I´ll be having grandchildren. Will they see it?
