Jimmy Carter is a kind of George W Bush of the Democratic Party- a well-intentioned man who is constantly tripping over his ineptitude. His recent book is described- not by some random critic but by his founder of his own center's Middle East project as being "“replete with factual errors, copied materials not cited, superficialities, glaring omissions, and simply invented segments.†That's pretty brutal criticism from a man who works with you and on your payroll. Well, he did- he resigned to protest the book.
