Prospects for Israel's Current Coalition Government
The Transatlantic Institute hosts, Einat Wilf, Former Foreign Policy Advisor to Vice-Prime Minister Shimon Peres to discuss the prospects for Israel's current Coalition Government.
Ms. Wilf served until recently as the Foreign Policy Advisor to the Vice Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres. She is a graduate of Harvard University, has an MBA from INSEAD in France and is currently writing a PhD with Cambridge University in the UK. Prior to working for the Israeli Government she worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Co. in New York and a Managing Partner with Koor Corporate Venture Capital in Israel. She is currently completing her second book, which is titled Back to Basics and proposes detailed policy solutions for fixing Israel's education system. Her first book Founders, Fighters and Us - Of Israel's Young Generation was published in Israel in 2003. She writes regularly for Ynet in Hebrew and English and her editorials have been published also in the Israeli daily Haaretz and The Jerusalem Post

Emanuele Ottolenghi
Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi is Executive Director at the Transatlantic Institute in Brussels. He previously taught Israel Studies at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies and at the Middle East Centre of St. Antony's College, Oxford University.
He holds a degree in Political Science from University of Bologna, Italy, and a Ph.D. in political theory from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Since 1998 he is at Oxford.
His research focuses on Israeli domestic politics, specifically coalition and party politics, and elections, post-Zionism, the Arab-Israeli conflict (mainly the Oslo era), Europe's new anti-Semitism and European attitudes to the Middle East. He is currently finishing a book on Israel's electoral reforms in the 1990s.
