Definitely recommended.

I thought his poem at the beginning was cute and fun. His personality is definitely a draw. I almost wonder if the book would be as enjoyable as hearing him read it?

I don't like sci fi but I liked what he read...the part where he reads the Gothic story is a really interesting take on the nature of genre fiction. And yeah, he's really personable and funny too.

I like this clip. Gaiman reads his stories well, and I guess I'm surprised he's so quirky and congenial. From what I knew of Gaiman's rabid fanbase, I thought he'd be all gothed-out and moody. Instead, he's Dr. Balthar from Battlestar Galactica . Who knew?
