My opinion is that the talk by Timothy Sandefur was totally outrageous. He completely misrepresents progressivism (i.e. liberalism, and left of centre thinking) in saying that it doesn't believe in natural rights. In fact, liberalism is founded on a conception of individual natural rights. It's critique of property 'rights' is that a system founded strictly on this principle often denies fundamental individual rights to many people e.g. those with very few possessions are denied the right to live a dignified human life. Sandefur's distortion of liberalism is outrageous.
