The argument can be made (and is made quite convincingly) that the Dean/Kos/MoveOn wing of the Party cost Dems the White House in 2004. This view is shared by a wide range of analysts in both parties and it stands up pretty well.

And I have to declare myself amused that Moulsitas thinks that Lieberman will be beaten because he's now "only" up by 15 points. Sorry Markos, those remaining points are not soft. Don't get your hopes up. I'll pose topless for ForaTv if Lieberman loses.

The irony that isn't noted here is that the breakdown of traditional media controls has done FAR more to open the debate for arguments from the right than from the other direction.

I came back into activism with the Dean campaign and it is so exciting to see things shaping up like this.

Hats off to Kos! He's bringing power back to us, the people. It's been so depressing to have our country gutted and looted and he gives me hope. Great collaboration by Fora and Link TV to get this!

Kos's remarks here are incredibly moving, especially in regards to the power of citizen journalism. A revolution is afoot, and I believe the Colbert incident will go down in the books as a key marker of the power in blogging and internet distribution. You say you want a revolution...

Moulistas' delivery is powerfully moving. His sentiments about people-powered media and politics is inspirational. Hopefully more young people will become invloved with politics with the increased accessibility to do so through a media savvy generation.

Wow! Kos hits it outta the park. Nice rallying cry for the troops.

I've posted a link to an SF Chronicle Back Story podcast with Kos on the motivations behind his and Jerome Armstrong's new book, "Crashing the Gate". It's an excellent interview, definitely worth checking out.
