Andrea Mitchell - Andrea Mitchell has been the chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News since 1994. Mitchell reports on foreign policy issues in the US and abroad for all NBC News broadcasts, including NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and Today, and on both CNBC and MSNBC. Mitchell has covered every presidential election since 1972. In 2005, Mitchell’s first book, Talking Back: …to Presidents, Dictators, and Assorted Scoundrels, a memoir about her experiences as one of the first women to cover five presidents, Congress, and foreign policy, was published. She is the recipient of the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, among other awards. Prior to being named chief foreign affairs correspondent, Mitchell was NBC News’s chief White House correspondent.
